How do payments work?
All payments are securely processed through Stripe via the Payments Page. From there you can follow the links to set-up weekly, bi-weekly, or fortnightly payments, or pay for a one-off lesson.
To confirm your session, please make sure payment is completed by the day before the lesson is scheduled, else the session won’t go ahead. Changes made with at least 24 hours notice will not be charged.
Note: Stripe refers to weekly, bi-weekly, and fortnightly payments as subscriptions in their system. The first payment in a subscription is taken straight away and will repeat at the relevant frequency. E.g. If the first payment for weekly lessons is made on a Wednesday, the second payment would be taken the following Wednesday.
If you need a refund or to pause recurring payments just let me know and it can be easily processed.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule a lesson?
No problem at all — I understand that things come up!
Just let me know if you have a reschedule request or need to cancel a lesson at least 24 hours in advance and we’ll find another time that works.
Please note that changes made with less than 24 hours notice will still be charged to cover the reserved time.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes — I offer a 15% discount for students booking two lessons per week and for families and caregivers booking lessons for more than one student.
What's included in a typical lesson?
Lessons are fully tailored to you and what you need at the time. They may include: topic content using resources I’ve created, interactive activities to visualise concepts, worked examples, quizes, role swaps, or exam-style questions — all adapted to your syllabus.
What platform do you use for lessons?
I use Lessonspace for all sessions — it has excellent features for online teaching, like a shared whiteboard, screen sharing, and maths tools.

Do you tutor students with additional learning needs (SEND)?
Yes — I have experience teaching a wide range of learners and adapt my approach to support each student’s needs and learning preferences. I check in regularly with my students to see what is working well or not so well for their learning.
Can I choose what topics we focus on?
Definitely! Lessons are fully student-led — we’ll focus on the topics you need the most support with, and adjust as your needs change.
How often should I book lessons?
Most students benefit from more regular contact, with weekly and bi-weekly lessons proving to have the biggest impact. If you prefer a lower frequency fortnightly lessons are perfect.
Extra one-off sessions can be booked as needed around exam time or during the holidays.
Do you provide resources or homework?
I use a bank of tailored resources during lessons which can be available to my students as PDFs upon request.
If a student requests regular homework that can be arranged, else it is set very occaisonally to reinforce what we cover in lessons – I understand students often have a full workload, so homework is always set with balance in mind.
Will you track my progress?
I keep an eye on progress through regular feedback and observing how you’re getting on with the work we do together. It helps me make sure we’re heading in the right direction so I can make adjustments where needed.
